This is a great graphic, overall. I’m not sure that “private security” would necessarily be more effective, but I doubt it could be much worse. They did forget to talk about how much money Chertoff made from those fucking scanners, though.
Then there’s the fact that the TSA is really just about the illusion of security. We could’ve had equivalent “protection” from 60,000,000 in TV ads, rather than 60,000,000,000 in stupidy.
At least with the way over-hiring of people we’re stimulating the economy just a tiny bit.
